Aquarium Designs now carries Rod's Food. This is the best food you can buy for your entire tank. Check out his web site rodsfood.com. This stuff flys off the shelf in Chicago. I have been using it for two years and would not feed my reef anything else. Marine Depot and Premium Aquatics also carries the food. Give it a try.

Any chance someone would care to elaborate why this is the bestest food ever? So locals are using it? How about some local experience and pictures? As in HINT HINT..

I am not Rod not do I receive any compenstation for the plug. I have been using his food to feed my tank for a long time. Recently moved from Chicago area and wanted a local distributor so I don't have to order on line. He has a web site that posts the ingredients. I believe Darby's in New Braunfels will be carrying the food soon.

Kjerde, we're just teasing, but I'll bet Rod is going to get ticked when he sees you in his fridge taking his food! :)

I looked at Rod's Food sometime ago, from the ingredients it should be very goood stuff. It is very similar to the frozen food mix I make for my fish/corals. I use too much to afford Rod's food though.

Just picked up my first bag from AD. They said it is flying off the shelf. Hopefully my tank likes it.

Jason gave me a brochure when I went to pick up my glue. I bought a 6oz, which was 9.99... I fed my fish, and they all loved it. I fed my duncan with it as well, and it readily took it. The list of ingredients in this food is so varied, that IMO it is extemely well worth it.
The ingredients include:
Baby Brine Shrimp (Harvested Fresh)
Brine Shrimp
Broccoli
Carrots
Clam
Fish Eggs
Garlic
Golden Pearls (All 7 sizes)
Krill
Mysis
Green Nori Roasted
Red Nori Unroasted
Octopus
Oyster eggs
Perch or Grouper
Rotifers (Harvested Fresh)
Scallop
Selco
Shrimp
Squid

Darby's Tropical on 35 is probably the location closet to Austin.
