Pura Silicate/Phosphate Aquarium Filter

I recently saw these filters for sale at Alamo Aquatics, I was wondering if anyone has or is using them and if they make any type of difference. I was thinking about using one in my wet/dry filter, but was curious about others experience w/ this product??
