Ok,

My wife is gonna kill me if I spend money to buy a tank. So I thought, what the heck, I'll post my services.

Here is the deal, I have NOTHING right now, I sold my tank about a year ago when I was changing apartments. I am having serious withdrawels and am craving a tank (I MISS my old reef tank)...yet I can't spend money.

HOWEVER, I do host websites and build websites...so if you are in need of a website, I am willing to do some trading for my services. There are some details that would require some money on YOUR part (a monthly hosting fee) but I would build the website - we could work something out, because websites are like Tanks, you keep throwing money into them until you get it looking the way you like it.

Any takers? I would not need the equipment up front - I'm an honest, hardworking, overworked underpaid indivdual like everyone else. My goal it to get most of everything I need to throw a tank together by building websites.

Things that i would need:

Tank (RR would be nice) with stand. (size? hmmm lets keep it a 55 or bigger) sump optional
Lights - I like T5's
pumps
sand
dead rock will be fine for now
Skimmer
Whatever you think you can throw in???

This is how I got a few of my tanks. I contacted people on craigslist that were selling tanks and about 1 out of every hundred would say "Yes". Took some work and time though but I knew there were people out there with start up businesses that were screaming for a web site.

I would suggest that you post a few links to some of the sites that you have designed in order to increase your chances.

Good luck and stay patient you'll eventually get a bite. Try craigslist too!

I too would post on CL. Take the money you make from that and apply it to a tank! I got a sweet deal on a 75g tank stand and canopy for 300. That's what, the cost of a good designer logo and a couple of pages of content? :)
