Zoo Details!!

WooHoo!! Thanks to everyone who will be joining us at the San Antonio Zoo on October 6th. There will be over 100 of us at this amazing event!:applause: Here are the details you need to know:

Everyone MUST wear nametags. There will be a zoo employee at the front gates to direct you and give you your nametags.

Arrival: 6:00pm to 7:15pm
Dinner: 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Leave: 10:00pm

You may tour the zoo before, during, and after dinner, 6:30-8:00 is just when it will be available. Dinner will include hamburgers, hot dogs, cole slaw, potato salad, assorted cookies, and assorted cold drinks.

Looking forward to it. I was just down at Brackenridge Park earlier today with my son. After feeding the tons of ducks/geese down there, we went for a ride on the new train they have.

we had a blast, it was great walking around in the dark looking at some of the animals and hearing the noises they make

Thanks to everyone that put this event together. It was fun. Next time I'm bringing a flashlight and night vision goggles.

Yeah, that was the only bad thing, it got dark so quickly and the zoo isn't really lit for night viewing. My son and I made a quick trip around the zoo before stopping to eat dinner so we got to see most of it while there was still some sunlight, although it seemed some of the animals had already retired to their cages by 6pm.

I was wondering how it would be at night...thought maybe the predators would be out?? Bet there were different sounds at night...
