I am about to start my first marine tank and need to keep cost to a minimum. I was wondering who sells the cheapest Live Rock in San Antonio (Closer to Boerne the better). i was hoping for $2-3 a pound. Who sells cheap sand as well?

Wolf Reef is hard to beat for live rock prices.

Great.
What do they charge? What kinds do they have?

It varies with the availability, it fluctuates more than oil. Call Ed and ask what the current going rate is. He may cut nice deals on entire boxes. You just missed the sale about 2 weeks ago on whole boxes. A box is generally 80lbs for Fiji and 50lbs for Marshall. Others vary as well.

alright,
thanks.

It will be for an aquapod 24 gallon I'm about to buy, so I only need like 25 pounds.

Wolf Reef generally has the cheapest prices on Live Rock. Ed had some nice rock in for the meeting a few weeks ago.

For such a small tank, I would go to a few stores and pick and choose unique pieces.
