Emperor 280 Filter Refugium

Has anyone used their Emperor 280 HOB filter as a refugium? It has a decent amount of water volume and I was wondering if it would work for a fuge for a 36 gallon. Thanks.

it might work it may have too much water flow you can always post on maast or other reef fourms to see if you can find a HOB fuge
