Sure,
The tank has been up and running for 3 years. It contains approx. 200lbs of live rock, In which I used a PVC platform to build the foundation of the reef crest. I highly recommend doing this if you can, it will save you alot of money on live rock, and give your fish more real estate to swim around. But the biggest reason I found for doing this is FLOW.
Lighting consists of 3- 400watt MH with mini LuminarIII reflectors. I am currently using 2-14Ks 1-20K. They are experimental bulbs that I am testing for Pacific Garden Supply, they are the manufacture of the Luminarc reflectors.
Filtration/Supplements
It is all custom made Matt (Dunne) Monster Products. His cast acrylic product are second to none IMO, and I have tried many of the top brands on the market in 13 years of reefing.
2- Skimmers: Beckett, Needle wheel
1- 50 sump/fuge
1- misc. 25 gallon
1- lg calcium reactor
1- Kalk reactor
I also add 2 teaspoons of baking soda, and 1 teaspoon of Kalk slurry everyother day.
Thats it in a nut shell, or in my aquarium

Troy....these pics are SOOO overdue. You've had an awesome tank for years. In fact, the meeting held at your house back IN January or February 2003 was my 1st meeting with MAAST. It looks great! I believe I still have some of your mushrooms from back then. ;) Most definitely Troy, enter it into TOTM.

Wow super nice tank!! was the clam in that spot first and the cap grew around it or did you put the clam in the middle? I love that shot
If you look closely at that picture, at the base of the clam, it looks like the cap grew around it. Very cool. :D

Thank you for the compliments. :roll
Originially the clam was underneath the cap, but then it began to shadow the clam. So I put the clam on the cap, and it seems to happy now. I am excited to see what it will look like in a few months. I just put in on top of the cap last week and like Erik said it has already started growing around it.

As is often the case, the pictures don't do the tank justice, having seen it in person. Many of these corals are several years old, and the rock is really encrusted like you see diving in the caribbean. A truly great tank!

Ray,
Oh no! I still haven't succeeded in wiping out the Xenia plague. However I have narrowed it down to one type.
What these pictures don't show is all of the small buds that are beginning to reemerge from the leftover Xenia tissue. That stuff is a real pain in the neck. I think eventually I will have to take each rock and scrub it until all traces of Xenia are gone.
