I will be installing my new calcium reactor this weekend. Any tips, do's or don't do's????

Sure, what do you want to know? Two things you'll need are an accurate, calibrated ph probe (handheld is fine) and an alkalinity test kit that's accurate up to 30dkh or so.

Before you install it, I strongly suggest you adjust your Calcium and alkalinity with Calcium Chloride (turbo calcium or dow flake) and baking soda. Get your Calcium to around 400, maybe a little higher but not much, and alk to around 9-10dkh. You don't want the reactor to raise these levels, only maintain.
