My bta split and it looks great. Do I need to do anything special. My pair of clowns look somewhat confused, they cant figure out where they want to be.
Any info on what makes them split and care would help greatly.

Nope, just know that after they split, they tend to wander for a bit. Makes them prime candidates to get sucked into something. It will be a week or 2 before they can eat.

BTW, splits are usually either stress induced (they split for survival), or as a means to reproduce. If it was fat, dumb and happy, it was probably the second.

Congratulations and very cool. I hope to get an anemone someday so I can watch it grow and split.

Thanks for the info. It was large, fat, and I hope happy. It did start wondering a day or two before it split. Since it split, one of the two went back to the original spot and the other is in the same spot they split. Both still look great and the clowns are acting like rich fish with a summer/winter home.
