Hey everyone I know there has been some interest in this topic so I thought I would shed some light...Austin Aquariums was bought out around three months ago and has new ownership. The store opened back up at the end of May as Austin Aquatic Innovations.
I started working there about two weeks ago, and since visiting the store for the first time again in May there has been quite a few improvements. We are getting to the point where most of the kinks in starting up the store again are worked out, and the new owner, Coleen, has some great ideas for the future of AAI. Some of the changes yet to come are an overhaul of the main fish and coral systems. We are also shifting most of our focus onto the saltwater aspect of the hobby, and if things go as planned I think many of you will be pleasantly surprised with how the store changes. Along with the tank overhaul , we are working with some exclusive distributors to bring ELOS products into the store!
If you guys have any more questions...or are just curious about the store and new ownership please feel free to contact me or better yet come in and say "hey!"
