Well, Ive had my nano for a few months now, so....
Time for a new tank! :lol
The new tank is 36"x24"x18"T and will stick out from the wall long ways, like a peninsula (thanks for the name Ace!)
It is going to be lit by a 8x39w T5 Tek Light, I already have a nice PM sump that is going to be made into a ~30g refugium (thanks Richard!). Flow will be provided by 2 Sequence Snapper pumps, one for the return and one for closed loop, as well as a 6045 nano Tunze. Im going to do a small 1-2" sandbed and low rockwork with gaps/canyons, kind of mimicking a Japanese style tank. Pics to follow...

Nice. I like looking at tanks from more than one view.

I looked into those pumps awhile back. Built just like a Dart but with less gph. Should be a nice setup. Are you planning on using any Ocean Motions type of output for the closed loop?

I mainly chose the Snapper because it it supposedly super quiet, and this tank will most likely be in my room. I was thinking about an OM 2way or something for the CL, but we shall see if my budget allows for it.

Do you have the list of equipment you're gonna be using? (i.e skimmer, reactor, flow..etc)..

Tank and Refugium side by side, the total system volume will be right at 100 gallons. 67g for the tank, and 30g for the Fuge:

lol, thanks.
Im also debating whether or not I should do a foam wall (like Texreefer's) to cover the back wall and overflow since I dont really like the blue...

That would work. One idea to kick around if you do the foam is to buy some acrylic rod (assuming the whole tank is acrylic). Cut the rod into different lengths and glue them to the back wall (with weld on) to create contour lines. Then spray the foam over the rods. This would help the foam stay place on the back wall and make it stronger.

Just an idea.

And I'm trying to be sooo politicly correct but those sheets look like something a 'not so straight' cowboy would use. :P
