My Pheonix 14 is too blue for me.
I'm looking for recommendations on a WHITE 150K that will be pushed by an ARO electronic ballast.
I'm debating the coralvue 12k or the Hamilton 10K but thought I'd ask for some advise.
I'm affraid that and 10k might be too yellow so let me know what your experiences are.

10K is definitely not too yellow as long as you choose the right bulb. 10K with actinic supplements is the combonation you can't go wrong with. Lately many people have been using Coralvue 10K reeflux which looks pretty good on most electronic ballasts, and I believe they make a 150w double ended 10K.

I'm reading that some 10K reeflux glow a pinkinsh color which is the only reason I haven't bought them yet. Is anyone using them?

If they do burn "pinkish" and you have actinic supplementation it will still look white. Blue and pink together look white. I had a pink freshwater bulb and a very blue 20k and the tank looked white. I hope there is a science teacher out there that can explain this. Hint Hint

12k REEFLUX LAMPS LOOK GREAT IN MY OPINION.

Have you compared them to a 14K?
