Yep! sure is! I built this greenhouse in my backyard about ten or so years ago and its been very enjoyable. This is the very first time the orange orchid has bloomed since Ive had it, must be the right condintions this year, its a species and very difficult to get to bloom. Glad you like! The Boston fern is about eight feet in diameter. lol

We decided not to do grass and are letting our property stay all natural, talk about easy to take care of.
All but 3 of the flowers have always been here or were planted by the previous owners.

On a side note:

WOOHOO!!! The voodoo lily is blooming!
At first, we walked out there and thought 'it doesnt smell.' Then I walked out there about 20mins later and OMG! I couldnt get w/in 3 ft of this thing; it smells like death, and not a 'plant version of death' ...exactly like rotten death.

This is so cool! More to come!

a freind spotted our texas star in our front border, about 5 feet from the street. he looked at me kind of funny, and said"that's pretty bold!". i didn't even tell him it was a hybiscus. i thing the huge hybiscus cristina was refering to are called "muy grande", the blooms get about 10", and the plants themselves are 6-8' tall! there's a bunch of them on campus in SM, and mid summer they're awesome!

Blueboy-
Ill have to look that one up. Our texas star had blooms that were huge ...about 8-9in in diameter.

Ram-
thats horrible! And yes they are pretty potent...lol.

Not 'flower' pics but this is what I got to clean up after this week...lol. Our trees were in serious need of a pruning, Im not sure the old owners ever did it...sigh.

and this is just the backyard, we had a pear and 2 live oaks out front that got a 'day at the salon' too.

Cooper and FrankiJo had a blast. FrankiJo, our beagle, could run underneath everything, and our Foxhound (Cooper) couldn't run fast enough on top of it all to catch her...it was driving him crazy!

Nice sago, yeah mine put out its new ones a couple weeks ago...very cool to watch!

The mystery plant is definately a philodendron. It was left with the house by the old owners so I had no idea what it was. It froze solid this winter and still lived. I did a 'hack job' on the roots (cut a lot of them), put about 3 inches of compost on it, and it has put on 5 leaves in the last 4 months. Pretty hardy little plant.

Thanks guys!
