Do dwarf angel fish bother clams?

nope still acclimating. Wondering how he will react with the clam though.

Hmm. Sometimes, sometimes not. If they are a problem they tend to like clam mantles first.

Dwarf angels can be hit or miss with clams, being mostly algae eaters and clams are mostly algae, personaly, I wouldnt risk it.... but good luck!

J/W when i 1st got him he was in a tank W/ clams and softies in it! never know though

I never had a problem with my coral beauty several years ago, but maybe just got lucky. I had a picasso trigger though that loved to go after the foot of one though.

I had an african flameback angel and it never messed with my clams.

I had a coral beauty fish that killed a derasa of mine. But it only picked on that clam, not the maxima or squamosa. It kept nipping at the mantle until it tore a big hole in it.

I had a flame angel for years and a coral beauty with no problems, then..................One day they took an interest. Bad gamble.

Thanks everyone, I ended up throwing it in another tank. It seems to be happy there and nothing seems to be disturbed.
