prism skimmer?

I have a question. If i run a valve on the airline to my prism can I run the water fow full throttle and just adjust the air intake? And if I can will that make it work more efficient?

Nope theres other things. Raise the skimmer so it skims more of the surface water. Stuff that white filter stuff in the output of the skimmer and turn the water flow way down. I did the mod... It did not work. I had to replace the impellor that I modified to get it to work again. I hate to say it, but for better skimmate, get a different skimmer. I have tried in vain to get mine to skim as well as my other skimmers, but to no avail. Save your $$, and upgrade....
