Is there anything out there that will eat Xenia? I have been trying to get rid of it but it just keeps growing back...Any suggestions?

Hi, i understand Xenia does grow fast but there is nothing out there that will consume them properly. The best way to get rid of them is by just sharing them with your local fellow reefers. Xenias are lovely to have in your tank.

I hope someone out there needs some of these cool specie. :)

Xenia loves pollution, cut back on feedings, nitrates, phosphates, and it will go away or at least you can control it. To thin it out lay small pieces of rubble next to it and it will jump and then you can remove it to another tank.

Well if it does take over your tank and you can't give it away don't forget that there is always the seasonal die off of xenia. They will still be there ready to grow back when their growing season is back.

my flame angel quickly knocked mine out, even though she doesn't touch anthelia.

I try to peel off as much as I can but it keeps coming back. Small colonies start forming and they are sometimes in hard to get to places...
