I got some zoa and a bubble coral in the mail today and just wanted to make sure I don't need to do something special to acclimate them. I have them in the tank in their bags and will let sit for 15 min, then add some of my tank water and sit for another 15, and then do this one or two more times.

Any tips???

thanks
Todd

its easy to drip them. run some aquarium tubing from your tank to a valve that adjusts, then siphon it. Set it to a moderate drip, and yer done. I have a dripper bucket, but I use that if I am doing salinity changes/adding more water etc. The dripper bucket is easy design as well. Take a cheap bucket, pop a small hole in the bottom. Put a T valve in itwith the double ended part in the bucket, and attach aquarium tube to the outside. seal it. done.

I also suggest drip acclimating. I don't even use a valve I just tie a knot in the tubing and start the siphon. The tighter the knot the slower the drip.

I also just acclimate them dip them in the water they came in then drop them in my tank. For zoas I do add a little bit of my tank water.
