Its my fault I knew better, my wife bought me a spoted grouper for our aniversary a couple of months back, and even altough I KNEW I shoudn't have I put in my tank, he WAS little..argh!!! I am so mad at myself :angry
I added it to my tank, well, he was a model citizen, I even manage to train him to eat out of my hand, he has grown and fatten up nicely, yeah me the fool
so this morning I check my tank like I always do before I leave for work and guess what I see...suspense moment..... the little blankety blank blank blank blank, you get the meaning, fish had my male ocellaris clown in his mouth, side ways, .............<mad moment....
so I try to catch him of course without sucsess, so now I lost nemo
so since you put up with my long story, if you want I got a evil spoted grouper(mightnight black with light green glow in the dark spots) for FREE
and a very nice fat widow ocellaris clown fish(hope she dont die on me after what she witness) FREE also
LMK

dude, don't beat yourself up over it, all of us underestimate what a lion or grouper can fit in their mouth... it's like a kid swalloing a fist... you think it's impossible but somehow the little buggers do it.
look at it as a chance to get a different type of clownfish... maybe some tomatoes, skunks, cinnaomns, maroons...

I saved a goby from my old lionfish. I wanted to make "SAVE THE GOBY" shirts. I was running around the apartment that morning yelling that.

Next time, you can tell the wifey to get a gift certificate to the fish store instead of buying something that might not get along with whatever's already in your tank. :)

Jose, I meant no disrespect by it. Sorry if it came out to sound like that through the web. :)
Anyways, sorry about the grouper eating your clown. Even though they might be just fish, I know I get attached so it's hard when one passes on to the great beyond.

That stinks. It is amazing what fish'll eat. When I was a kid, my friend and I decided to put this huge crayfish/crawdad in his Oscar tank. We thought with those big 'ol claws, he could hold his own for atleast a day. The bugger didn't even make it to the bottom of the tank. All that was left was one claw floating down to the gravel.

the worse part is that cheap fish eats more expensive fish LOL
Darn urban, I hope your dad is ok, his morning was worse than mine
Ram, bro' why are you surprise?, I love my wife, mother of my beautifull kids, and she put ups with me and my addiction, why wouldn't I set some one straight, even if is not meant, I done it before, if we dont stand for what we believe/love, who is going to?

Jose, because 'wifey' never has been to my knowledge considered a deragatory term. Infact, it is if anything, associated with a term of affection, implying your affection for her, not the person who says it. it's a simple slang, and the chances of Yun every using it again in a conversation w/ you about your wife was almost zilch... thus.. in my eyes, an over reaction.
it's not my place to be offended over it, and Yuns not, so it's not big deal, I was just really suprised that after offering a nice little piece of advice that was his thanks. it doesn't matter that you qualified it, it was still a public smack down.
that's all i am gonna say, I don't want to start a flame war, I am totally not upset over it, just, as you stated, suprised, so.. please don't take offense. <-- hope that's not hypocritical. :)
