Just wondering how that would look. Ive considered covering my back glass with something like green star polyps. Has anyone ever done this with gsp or any other coral?

I've seen several tanks covered like that using mushrooms, GSP, cloves, xenia etc..... Looked very nice plus they were easy to frag. I glue SPS caps to my glass and let them grow out. I need to prune them back as they will get large enough to fall free.

I had xenia covering a lot of the back glass, but it has mostly receded now or moved into the rest of the tank. They would grow up and clog the overflows. I had to prune them back about once a week.
I"m putting GSP frags there now to start them covering the back.

I also glue my sps to my overflows. It's a cool look and I think any coral would look cool on the back glass.

IF i were to glue some gsp to the back glass then, how hard would it be to get it off? Asking this incase i dont like it and want to get rid of all of it or incase it covers the entire back glass at some point and starts growing over to the sides and i need to remove portions

Cant be any tougher than removing coralline algae....

What a cool idea!! Why didn't I ever think of that. Time to transfer some of my green stars!!! BTW, how do I seperate them from their rock?
