My son discovered this creature on the glass this morning. Does anyone know what it is? Will it eat my zoas?

maybe not good. if it is one of those rock boring urchins (which it kinda looks like), it will mow down zoas and other soft corals - i speak from experience. we're not talking take a few, we are talkin clear cutting a pathway thru the middle of a colony. i would put it in the fuge - that is what i did with mine.

I had one, too and he destroyed a whole colony of red zoas. The will completely clear out your coraline algae, too. CA is one of their favorite food sources. Mine were (two) the size of baseballs.
