I will be leaving for Mexico this weekend and will be gone for almost a week. Does anybody have any recommendations on what kind of food to leave for the fishies?? I tried some cyclopeeze pellets the last time but soem of my wrasses won't go for it, they only like frozen. They usually pick off the rocks any how as well. Will they be ok for a week? Any suggestions will be gretaly appreciated.

Yeah, I've heard nothing but good things about the Hydors. And worst comes to worst, I think they'd survive not eating for a week. Look how long it takes some fish to die without eating anything at all.

Your fish will survive 1 week w/o food. But, a decline in water quality will kill them fast. Make sure you have top off water, fresh carbon etc... Its when your away that Murphy's law comes into play.

Yeah I have everything ready for all that stuff. Even plan on doing a water change Thursday. Just the fish I'm worried about.

I would suggest getting someone to come over and check on your tank. I have the what if in my mind. What if the tank heater goes hay wire, and so many more what ifs... I was so worried leaving for four days a few weeks back. I had someone come twice a day :D LOL

I thought we had someone around here that tank sits? Anthony, I'd have someone check on it every couple of days.
