When fragging palys, do I distach the frag of polyps (at the base/mat) from the rest of the colony and it will heal? Do I have to get rock with it, or can i scrape them off gently??? Can I apply superglue directly the portion that was freshly scraped off?
THESE ARE WHAT I WANT TO FRAG (UPPER LEFT)

you can use a screwdriver and chisel under the polyps if you want , and yes you can superglue the frag right after removing it from the mother colony. nice rpe's

it's much easier if you get some rock, because the superglue won't stick to the flesh because of all the slime. it might hold till your not looking, but then your frag will come loose and blow under a rock.

I got a zoa rock the other day that was covered in zoanthids. When i got home a bunch of them got knocked off the rock and were loose in the back. All i did was cut the heads off and superglued them to a rock. Just put a drop of superglue on the rock, then use tweezers to put the head of the zoa on the glue. They must be placed in a low flow area for a few days.
