The STENCH from my skimmer bottle?

OK, Ace built me a HECK of a skimmer. Here's the problem. The cup is tapped so the green gunk (skimmate) goes into a 3 liter plastic bottle. The problem is that all of the air that goes thru the skimmer goes thru that tubing and into the bottle, blowing out REALLY stinky air. Anyone have any thoughts on the aroma problem?

mmmmm, Learn to love it like the rest of us. lol OR, put a little bleach in the bucket.

Put a teaspoon or so of kalk powder in the collection cup/bottle. The skimmate doesn't stink, it's the bacteria growing in it. The high ph kills the bacteria, no more stink.
