I think i have seen this stuff somewhere posted saying it was a type of algae. My question is will it become a problem in the future to get rid of? It looks cool to me so im just going to let it grow unless told otherwise. Also if this stuff will not become a problem, how do i find something that will eat hair algae but not this.

thanks, chris

I have 2 of these Alga in my tank. Nothing has bothered them nor have they become a problem.

I have these also. I've been told there good indicators that your calcium levels are good.
