Home Depot now sells 100w 65K normal socket PC bulbs. They sell for $15. I dont know what the PAR/PUR is on these bulbs. I am going to see if I can get the bulbs tested with a light meter.
I am going to set up a 10g Nano and experiment with Zoa's, a leather and a couple different Montipora digitata's. I can think of several other uses for these. I have had success using the 20w and 25w bulbs on Nano tanks and fuges. To help offset the yellow coloring, I will add 2 of the cheap $2 N.O. blue bulbs found at Wal-Mart, the type used for freshwater set-ups.
