If you can provide more info about your tank, that would help in the diagnosis. Tank Size, what is in it, and what the parameters are.

Might be your testing kit. I had the opposite happen to me. My test kits were telling me that everything was great when in reality, they were off. I would either buy new kits or see if you can borrow some from someone to see if you still have an issue.

Good Luck,
Kevin

Your other post says you have a starfish and two sexy shrimp - if they are still alive your parms probably aren't as bad as you might think? What is the general health of the fish - any ick, rapid breathing, lethargic, skin abbrasions, etc.?

Give as much info about the tank and all the contents: Rock, Sand bed, any filtration, lighting, how often & what you feed, etc. Do you have any diatoms or hair algae or cyano bacteria growing? It may take a lot of typing, but lots of folks here have years of experience and can really help you very rapidly if they don't have to guess at what you are doing.

Don't be shy - type away :)

Until then, stop feeding for 2-3 days and do a 25% water change every other day, and run a bag of activated charcoal if you have a place for it (sump?).
