Just wondering what the best way to clean a MH reflector might be. I have a couple parabolic reflectors that have just gotten too dirty to be able to wipe clean easily.
Should I just cut my losses and buy some new ones?

Try vinegar. Just rinse them with fresh water before you reinstall them. You don't want to get vinegar in your tank :)

Actually, a little distilled vinegar residue isn't harmful. It lowers the Ph a bit if it gets into your tank but that's about it. I add some to my top-off water routinely to increase the Kalk water saturation. If the reflectors are stained though you may just want to get new reflectors anyway.

Use some very fine steel mesh, you can find it at home depot, I use it on my Lumenarc III's.
