OK, need some thoughts here.
I just picked up a Sedra 9000 off Ebay to replace my Sedra 5000 on my ASM G3 but am having trouble getting the fitting off the pump. Previous guy had it on a Euroreef and said the twist on compression fitting came from Euro roof like that.
Anyone have any ideas how to break the glue or whatever epoxy they use so I can hook it up to the intake elbow on my G3?

Maybe you should get a Euroreef body to go with it? That'd be my first choice.
Unless it is just sticky and needs to be tapped off, you'll probably need to dremel the old part away very carefully,

yeah except I basically got the ASM for free and free works good enough over giving up a first born for a Euro Reef. Would probably go with an Octopus in that case....
Yeah, I was about to break out the dremel and shears if all else failed. Didn't know if there was something out there that loosened up expoxy if you soaked it.

Is there no way to make it fit to your skimmer by adapters or anything. I have the G3 also and I'm not sure how ER sets the pump up to their skimmer so I'm not sure what you are talking about. Even if you are adding an inch or two to the plumbing since you went from the 5000 to the 9000 you should still have a nice upgrade.

My impression is that he is referring to the venturi tube being glued to the end of the pump inlet. I had to glue mine as it would come apart if I bumped it.
