green star polys

i have a large piece rock covered by them the green star but lately they have been retracted, some of them still open up completely. it is going to be about a week in a half that this is going on. does any one know what i am talking about. what is going on with them.

What are the parameters of the tank? i.e. salinity? ammonia? nitrite? nitrate? ph? alkalinity? etc.... It is important to know these things to accurately diagnose the problem

I agree with Joshua, sometimes it decides to closeup for a little while. You should should check your parameters though just to make sure there's not something else going on.
