Please assist me in adding a second fan to my aquapod. Can I run the other fan in a series? How would I hook it up? Any help would be great.

You would want to wire them in parallel, black to black, red to red... That way if one quits, the other will continue to operate,.

How would I do that? Would I have to buy an additional power supply?

Probally not as long as the amps are high enough. But where would you put it and what would it be used to cool???

My aquapod 24 has a second opening for a fan in the hood. I bought a replacement fan ($9.00) and I will mount it in the secong opening. The tank gets a little warm in the summertime.

I understand that the fan will remove the heat from the lights.
