Foam background. Great Stuff, I have some closer shots but my disc drive is down right now
Purplesprite - 80 gal tank, 130 total volume with sump and fuge
blueboy - sprayed on foam and befoe it dried i sprinkled sand and crushed coral into it, almost cannot tell it from live rock now with all the coralline growing on it.

That looks great. Be nice to see some shots of how it is done. It's a heck of a lot cheaper than live rock and you can customize how you want it to look.

Eric, Great stuff foam from Home Depot sprayed onto a pvc and eggcrate skeleton

how did you get the egg crate to stay still??? I am going to buy another tank sometime soon, and this looks like a way better choice than 3 dollar a pound live rock. Well I guess what I am asking is how did you secure the egg crate to the pvc (assuming the pvc is the frame and, the crate the cover)?????

Drilled holes in the PVC and used Zip ties to attach eggcrate then applied foam over that

Like I always say "if you cant fix it with zip ties or duct tape, it cant be fixed"..... well add in epoxy too...
