Stand is finally done... well not really

I finished the final coat of oil on my stand and once its dry into the house it comes. The stand is 40 x 40 x 35 with a 1.5 in lip to cover the trim of my tank. Structure of the tank is created with 2x4s and then skinned with solid african mahogany (well there is some ply where I ran short :P ). I also added colums to the front two corners as well as trimming out all the edges and creating a routed lip around the top. Now I just have to finish the doors, and wire the stand, and make the canopy.... ok this is where the not really part comes into play :roll I'll post some pictures when I get home.

That is a nice looking stand Ben. I got a little confuded with the orientation of the pics, but I think you did that to keep your stand construction trade secrets ;)

HAHAHA... no acutally I flipped it on its back onto a dolly to move it into the house but then it started raining. I figured I minus will snap some pics in the garage cause I didnt know when the rain was going to let up. I'll take some more pictures when I get it inside later today.
