So about 6 months ago I noticed these tiny little dots appear on some liverock. I left them alone. I'm a habitual turkey baster blast of my rocks kind of guy. I noticed over time that as I'd spray that area these dots would recoil. So I've been watching them. In the last 2 weeks I've had a huge growth spurt in the entire tank. In fact the original 3 dots have become what appear to be 6. My guess is that they look like tiny blasto. Not sure if I'd say wellsi or merletti. But then again I could be wrong.

So what do you all think?

Oh and they definitely are not spawn of those zoas. The dots were there long before the zoas. Also they appear to have little skeletons like Acanths or Blasto would have. One interesting note is that little hairs wisp out at all times unless I give em the old spray from the baster.

Without much experience at this, I would ask...1. How long has the rock been in your tank,
2. Do you have any blasto in your tank now,
3. Can I have a frag if they grow out beeg and purty?

1 and half years. Until yesterday I had only one single merletti head. These are something that began all by themselves months ago. Kind of a reddish purple with a touch of green.
