I ordered another brand pump for my 58 gallon Oceanic to replace the same type that had been in there for three years and worked great but now was noisy and needed to be replaced. After brand X came in I installed it and it was nosier than the old one and slightly leaked, so I sent it back and ordered a Pan World 40 PX. This makes my third Pan World pump (100PXX and 50 PXX). This pump is rated at 480 gallons per hour but matches my 1” over flow to the “T”. Which is what a Mag 12 does on my old 75 gallon. This pump is super quiet, small, and works great. One thing about ordering on line, if you have to send it back you just broke even, so I will get my next pump from my local LFS like I did on the others.
