thought about DIY'ing it. It doesnt look difficult. You could just have to make a mixture that is inert when cured, not extremely heavy, and kinda tacky so you can make shelves and such.

No, it's like base rock. Wont take very long to get color or life on them

I talked to a guy at Aquarium Specialty and apparently nobody in the US has the piece I want, but he said that he is getting somethhing similar from a different company in France. Im gonna check it out at MACNA, hopefully he will sell it to me after its over :)
