I have a really bad aiptasia infestation and need to eradicate them before they take over my reef. I know they dont really have a good reputation which is why I need to learn all I can to try and increase their chances of living. Anyone know where I can learn more about these guys? Or any suggestions to other fish that may help control the aiptasia? Any help would be appreciated.

Peppermint shrimp are supposed to be good. I just use Joe's Juice and have never had one come back. I've never seen it effect my tank either.

The pepperment shrimp work great. It's the natural way to go.

Copper band fish are great too, but out of experience the peppermint shimp and copper band will not touch the larger stalked anenome....so i would use joes juice on the bigger ones and they fish and shrimp took care of the micro ones.....

Ive thought about the pep shrimp and heard they also have their downside same goes for the cbb. I just want to get the aiptasia population under control without harming my coral or clams. Ive also thought of berghia but they are quite expensive but also seem the best way to go for a safe extermination. Ill give the peps a try before I try a cbb. Looks like I have lots of researching to continue. Thanks
