What are you feeding that tiny clam? At that size they get most of their energy from filter feeding phyto and stuff.

I add phyto daily, I find they are easiest to take care of in smaller tanks at this size.

I just got 4 maximas all under 3/4". They are to cool. 2 were gold and the others were blues. Any idea what your is yet? Mine move around a lot climbing all over the rock work enjoying themselves. In 2 weeks I've seen appreciable growth.

No i mean like the whole tank plus aquarium lights and everything. Maybe even a little wall and whatever its sitting on. Im setting up a 5.5 myself and just want to see what other people are doing with them. I want to build a canopy too so ive been trying to get ideas also

What type of filtration are you running?? Do you have and overflow box in the right corner?? my wife wants a small tank for her work and these are nice little tanks.

Filtration is about 3 lbs or lr rubble, and whisper 10 gallon power filter and chaeto. There is a false wall making the enrite rear of the tank an overflow. The pump is a maxi-Jet 900.

Cool, I think I get the idea. Does the Whisper filter water coming over the false wall?

klondike4001

no, it's hidden in behind the wall completely, it actually hangs on the rear of the tank, next to the heater.

I dont think i understand. Where is the pump pumping water to and from? Nice canopy by the way. I just built one for mine so i know the difficulties. Made mine more complicated than i had to though. Do anything besides stain it?
