My mom has been telling me for the past couple of days that it looks like her 3 stripes are hosting the tank wall. Tonight i finally got over there to look at it, and the damsel is fanning eggs! I know its faily common for clowns to spawn in an aquarium, but damsels? Is this common?

clowns are damsels so that seems right.

my yellow tail damsels used to spawn quite regularly, untill i moved the barnacle that they used. they were always very aggressive while watching the eggs, so i had to put an end to that. it's been a couple of months and they still haven't found their barnacle. whenever they do, i suspect i'll have to move it again.

thanks..I knew that it was possible, since clowns are damsels, but I had never heard of it actually happening
