Excuse Me but for the life of me I can't remember the # for estimating gal cap LxWxH devided by ??? Thanks Barry

Thanks Richard I knew it was 213 231 223 something like that just could'nt remember the right # as it does make a big difference if you dont have the right # Thanks Barry

The other way to calulate it is: cubic feet/7.47 = gal.

1 ft. X 1 ft. X 1 ft. = 7.47 gal.

My tanks is 72 X 22.5 X 18 = 16.875 cu. ft. = 126 gal. The 1 gal. difference is due to the thichness of the glass. A 1-2 gal. difference is common if you use outside measurements. Obviously, the thicker the glass, the more difference.

wow all this time I thought I had a 55 gallon, come to find out its a 48.62 gallon ;)
