Hello....

I am sad... yesterday I had 2 False PC and 2 Goby's one phycodelic one Target...

Today.............. just 1 false and the target..... :angry

I have no Idea where are they....

I already put a lil bit of food... but no signs....

I will have to move the rock around...

I will post my findings...

The only "predator" will be the anemone... but they never hosted her... SO...
I DON't KNOW!!!

I once saw Nassarus snails conpletely consume a dead full grown 6 line in 30 minutes. Cleanup crews can work quick. I dont know if this applies? Just an observation.

list all known tank inhabitants. what kind of anemone? how old is the tank, have you tested all parameters, if so give numbers. list all your equipment, itll help us troubleshoot you.

I am sorry... I didn't post before... I am at work... Anyways...

I found nemo... but not goby....

After moving all the rock... and trying to set everything back up I found him on the sand.... he was like.... if a rock would fall on him... his head was all F*UP....

Anyways... thanks... I checked all the levels... amonia 0 , nitrite 0 nitrate 0.... I did a water change... 15 gal. I bought amino-lock... just in case.. but all my parameters were right.... salinity, ph... nothing wrong.... maybe he sufferd an assault!

the two 'gobies' you mentioned are actually in a separate family, called dragonettes. they require a constant supply of tiny live foods (copepods) which is hard to duplicate in small systems (less than 100 gallons) or without an established tank with live rock. depending on your setup and how long you had the fish, it could be that inappropriate diet led to their demise, and the cleanup crew 'neutralized' them.

maybe a rock fell on your clownfish.

still could use more info on your tank. what kind of water flow do you have (equipment; how is it situated in your tank)? inappropriate amount/placement of flow can cause low levels of oxygen and lead to the demise of fish.

Thanks for your input...

Well actually I have a Yellow Target Mandarin Goby as well... I got them both from the same guy... and both of them were eating frozen food... and I also have a LOTS of pods (amphi, cope, etc) and flat worms!! Anyways... they were in my tank for 2 months! and suddenly the phyco dissapear... and I didn't find it... like I told you I foung the percula... and I really don't know what happend to him... that one had 6 months in my tank. I have a lot's of flow in my tank... I have a maxiyet with the mod. and I have another 2 power heads.

I will post pictures of my tank.. flow so you can give me an opinion if it...

I think is one of those things that just happens... and I really won't know what really happend..... ( what? lol... )

yeah I hate when a fish disappears and you never get any 'closure' LOL
as long as you have plenty of surface motion (it doesnt have to be crazy turbulent) then you should be ok...

I had that happen to me where I bought a 20g tank from someone and it had a brownbar goby in it, I stuck the tank (half full) in my backseat to take it home (man it was heavy) and when I unloaded the tank and set it up, the fish was nowhere to be found. I even went outside and looked to see if he somehow jumped, but never found him...
