Electrical help please

I was at Alamo Aquatic yesterday getting some bulkheads. I saw they have the Super R actinic lights. What would I need to put those lights into my canopy. The ends on them look like regular fluoresent bulbs. Would I need any special end caps? Ballast? I am no electrician!

i believe that is a VHO bulb, so you will need VHO endcaps and a ballast that will fire them, like an icecap.

I use WP VHO end caps and Bases. Most local stores sell them. Remember URI sells regular lamps also so make sure you get the VHO.
