I currently have an issue with my lights - they turn off after being on for 20-30 minutes or so. The light is an Odyssea (I know all about Odssea/Jebo, etc and their reputation...) dual 2-65 watt 12,000K and actinic 21" with 2 lunar lights. It has 2 fans - one of which went out the other day and was replaced. The actinic is a bit black. Does anybody know if it's the light that needs to be replaced - it's about a year old or is it the ballast?
Thanks!

Do they both go out or just one???

Perhaps it is just overheating with one fan not working.

Both of the lights go out (at the same time) and the fan was replaced so they are not overheating. Any ideas?!?!?!

Sounds to me like you have a thermal cutoff problem with the ballast.
How old is the unit?

Sounds like a bad ballast to me. All ballasts, transformers or anything that produces heat have thermal cutoffs. Sometimes they are resetable, sometimes they are like fuses.
