whats the best way to go about doing this? ive got a leather thats getting too big and starting to poke out of the top of my tank!
its pretty so i kinda wanna keep it. i know i can use gel-based glue to stick it to rock.
what is the best way to go about fragging it? ive never fragged a softie like this. do i just pick up and cut with scissors?

DO NOT use glue on a softie. It can kill the frag. There are exceptions, but the best way is to attach it with something like a rubber band, fishing line, or bridal veil until it grows to the rock. As for fragging it, just cut off a piece with a pair of scissors, razor blade, or scalpel.

so no glue? ive seen LFS's here do it before.
could i say, cut it with scissors or a razor blade, stuff the cut part into a crevice in a rock and let it attack that way? thats what i did with my xenia. all i did was turn off the filter and powerhead for an hour and they had attached when i turned everything back on.

Stabbing with a toothpick into a crevice will also work. It will prob. take a little longer to attach than your xenia.

i have plenty of toothpicks right in front of me :)
guess ill go pick up a new blade for my scalpel and get to fragging!
how much should i trim though? i kind of want to chop off the 'tree' portion of it and place pieces randomly in my tank. that would leave a stump on the rock. i dont wanna kill the stump so if choppin off the 'tree' will do that then i wont. so?

for reference. its the piece that is almost sticking out of the water. thats the main reason i want to frag it.
