does anyone have any good plans on making a calcium reactor? or has anyone built thier own and have it turn out right? was thinking about getting one but they dont look all that hard to make. ive never had one and dont know a thing about them so any help from someone who has made one would be great.
thanks

I've made lots of them; they're not that hard and it's a good first DIY project. Go to reefcentral and find all the threads on DIY reactors; that ought to keep you busy for a couple of months at least. If you want to make it out of acrylic, you're going to need a router table and a good flushtrim bit; the best ones are spiral cut.

ive got all the tools to do it with. i just finished my lower tank with sump combo. like yousaid, working with acrylic is not that hard, pretty easy actually. i just cant seem to find any good clear plans for a calcium reactor. even after digging around reef central. ive never had a calcium reactor so im not sure how everything works or where it goes. thats why i was trying to find someone who has actually made one that worked right. was hoping to maybe copy thier design and get tips from them.
if anyone can help, thanks in advance.
