Jeff, the recommended dose is about one large tab to 200-300 gallons, I forget the exact number. However, I believe Todd posted that treatments of even 20-40x this dilution were testing without adverse effects on the corals. I have used a whole smaller tab (about 1/3rd the size) in a 10g quarantine without problems. I would suggest about 1/4 of the tab???
You need to leave it in for 6-7 hours, probably with circulation and a heater. Then just rinse and return to the tank.
If this came out of your main tank, you probably really should be treating the entire system.
Todd is probably the most experienced among MAAST in this area, Brian is probably second - maybe they can chime in here too?

i plan on holding the corals in the quarentine tank for five or six days so the red bugs will die out in the main tank. i only have five or six acros so it is no problem moving them to a smaller tank as long as i dont have to dose the whole tank i will be happy. THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE.

In that case, after 6-7 hours start running carbon, change it every 24 hours. After the 6-7 hours do a 50% water change, then do 2-3 more 25% water changes over the next 3-5 days. That should get your corals squeaky clean and happy :) Without the crab & pod die-off in the QT, the water changes probably are not as critical as keeping fresh carbon running to get the medication out of the water.
