I found this in my tank. The opposite side of this critter looks like some zoos I have and kinda blends in when it is within them.
Just thought I would ask before I kill it.http://www.maast.org/modules.php?set_albumName=technomex&id=DSC02132&op =modload&name=gallery&file=index&include=view_phot o.php

Unfortunately that looks like a zooanthid eating nudibranch that is commonly found on colonies arriving from the soloman islands. Manual removal is really about the only option, and to check your zoo colonies for any egg clusters.

Thats what it is.... had them before and they definetely eat zoos. I would use a turkey baster and suck them up everyday until they were all gone. look out for the little ones too.

I found one just like that in my tank and removed it with a turkey baster last night. I put him in the fuge until I could ID it. Looks like I need to get rid of it.

It is a fairly common nudibranch and like I said, I've seen them come on almost every new zooanthid we've received from the Soloman islands. The other thing is that they don't fall off in a strong reef dip, they need to be either blown off or physically removed.
