I just got my Finnex-M tank last night, my first impression of it is that it is huge. I didn't think a 20 gallon aquarium would be that big, I guess they didn't count the filter area in the 20 gallons. The second thing I thought about it was the fact that it is acrylic.

How can you clean acrylic on the inside of the the tank without scratching it? Can anybody recommend any products?

This is my first acrylic tank so any advice would be appreciated.

Oh, and one last thing, will any medications stain the plastic? I have flat worms and will be treating for that and I would like to know if the treatment for that will stain acrylic. If it does I will just treat in my glass tank now and transfer later. I am kind of anxious to see the new system in action.

THey make acrylic cleaning pads that I use on my acrylic sump. It is white and most LFS carry these items. Just ask for a cleaning pad design for acrylic use. I have the pad, and the pad that is on a yellow shaft that allows you to get to those hard to reach areas.

They are relatively cheap too. :lol I paid like $2+ for the pad and $5+ for the cleaning stick. Do not know the actual maker of this product though. Butt works extremely well.IMO.
