I have the strangest "eggs" (I guess) in my tank. They look almost exactly like spider eggs (around 1/4" diameter, white, kinda fuzzy looking). They are all over one side of the glass, and on the underside of many of my rocks.
They don't seem to be any of my snails' eggs (Nassarius, nerite, cerith).
Has anyone ever seen these?
I will try to post a pic later, but my camera has no batteries at the moment.
Maybe I can bring a couple to the meeting...
Anyone want to trade? :P

It might be a sponge.

Wouldn't my coral beauty be eating them then?

that's like saying I would eat trees because I like vegetables.

Trees are vegetables? :P I read that the coral beauty's main love was sponges...I guess you are saying they like particular sponges. Kind of like I like brocolli but not lima beans. :sick Which are the ones they don't eat? If there are some they are not fond of, I would like to keep them. Is it just the individual fish's preference?

I don't know what is on their diet to tell you the truth, but there is always 'something' of 'some type' that a fish that likes some type will not eat. Your broccolli and lima beans example is great, another would be caulerpa and gracillaria algae, etc.
I think many times you will just be stuck with putting it in there and seeing what happens.
