SORRY THE PICTURES HAVE BEEN REMOVED :(

Hey All

Here are some updated pictures of my 24 Gallon Nano Cube. Next month my cube will be one year old. You may be wondering why the tank does not look one month old (growth that is).

During the month of September I decided to re-aquascape my tank and add about 30 pounds of sand. After this was completed I re-cycled my tank (see: crashed, lol). I went throught the ususal cycle stuff (ammonia, diatoms, etc.). After the cycle I had a horrible bout with cyanobacteria. I managed to rid myself of the cyanobacteria after about 3 weeks.

I recently purchased two pajama cardinalfish to keep guard over my reef. They must do a good job because no other fish have infultrated the area, lol. Other critters include 4 nassarius, 3 turbans and 8 astrea (snails). I have about a dozen hermits. I am thinking of purchasing some additional nassarius snails now that I am feeding my tank (cardinalfishes)

I have two Rio 600's that push the water around in the tank. I do weekly water changes of 2-5 gallons (depending on test results). I dose Red Sea Success Calk (yes, calk). My calcium measures at 420-440 ppm and my alkalinity is normally in the 7.8-8.2 dkh range. I almost always test at zero for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate.

I just wanted to share my success with all. I appreciate being a part of MAAST and sharing stories, experience and of course frags :) . I hope that I can meet more people as time goes by.

Without further ado, here are the pictures! Enjoy!

Sorry about that! Should be fixed now! :)

The orange zoanthus were the first corals I ever purchased. They grow sooooo slooooow though! I originally had them in my 3 gallon nano tank. I want to frag them, I am sure that I could get some good trades for them, lol.

Not bad looking at all! Huge picture, lol. I think that would be a fair trade. We'll have to PM regarding this pressing issue.

Thanks for the compliment :) !

I had a three gallon Eclispe tank at one time. The three gallon was a total disaster up until its end when the tank cracked. It was a good learning experience none the less.

Looking very nice after the crash. Sounds like you stay on top of everything. Good work!

Hey Steve

Thanks for the compliments! :) I try and stay on top of things as best as I can. Like most of us reefers, it is impossible for us to keep our hands out of the tank, :lol ! I have learned much over the past year, I try and put the knowledge to good use!

Oooh, I want to see more pics of your tank. Can you throw in a pic that shows the entire thing?

I had a full tank pic up here but I had to take it down when I posted my "Guess..." thread. I reached my limit :( . I pm you a full tank picture. BTW do you have any tank pictures? I don't think I have seen your tank since you have redone your tank.
