pic help

i want to post some pics but everytime i shrink them down they tell me they are still to big. this is annoying me. can anyone tell me how i can post pics. since i paid for my membership i havent be able to post a pic of anyting cause it says it is more than 150kb.

First, resize to 800x600 & if still too big - try compressing it more when saving the jpg. Usually this is set as an option when saving a jpg.

What software are you using to resize/compress your pics?

Also, when I post pics - my pics are actually hosted on another site and I just post links to the pics so I do not worry so much about MAAST 150k limitation.

Add them to your gallery they will be resized automatically. Then you can link to them. What you are doing is attaching them to the post and it all depends on the quality of the picture. A nice colorful picture "vivid" and a cartoon of the same "size" arent equal.
